After a tasty breakfast in the riad, our 10 Days Morocco Trip From Tangier starts towards Volubilis crossing via Ouazan and other Rif villages. In Volubilis, we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history. Then we will drive to Meknes city (the 17th-century heritage) where we will stop for lunch, discover the medina’s historical walls, bab el Mansour, and enjoy a visit to Moulay Ismail Greenery. Later in the afternoon, we head to Fes city where you will spend an overnight stay.

Today, you will Explore the cultural city of Morocco during this full-day trip to Fes. Also known as Fes el Bali, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 9th century, and is home to the world’s oldest university. The city of Fes reached its true economic and cultural height in the 13th-14th centuries under the Merinids when it replaced Marrakech as the capital of the kingdom. Although the political capital of Morocco was transferred to Rabat in 1912, Fes has retained its status as the country’s Artisan center. Artisan workshops in the medina are as active today as they were 100 years ago and strongly contribute to the city’s industrial economy. Trades such as blacksmithing, leatherworking, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting are still practiced in these workshops today. The original ramparts still protect this ancient city and its estimated 9000 narrow passageways and bustling streets.

On The 5th day, our  10 days Morocco desert tour from Tangier goes on towards the middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent touring your way via the beautiful forests of Cedar, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to go down toward the Moroccan Sahara desert. You’ll have lunch along the road. We will have a stop in Midelt which is well known for its fossils and rocks. We continue our 7 Days Morocco Itinerary on mountain roads overlooking the wide flowing Ziz valley. Crossing great Kasbahs and palm groves we will pass through the adobe-colored city of Errachidia.

In the late afternoon, we will reach Merzouga. you will experience Merzouga camel trek across the Erg Chebbi Dunes to the Sahara desert camp. When you arrive, you can experience sandboarding while enjoying the sunset. Spend the night glamping in a Sahara desert camp with Berbers, they will serve you dinner, then play drums for you around the campfire. The following day, on our 10 days Morocco tour itinerary. You will wake up early to appreciate a breathtaking sunrise over Merzouga erg Chebbi. After breakfast & shower in the desert camp, we take you back to Merzouga Village, either back by camel trekking or 4WD (as you wish). Then, we will drive to Rissani, we will visit a museum of fossils and have a walk in the traditional Market. The next stop will be in Ouarzazate, where we will have a small visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt and after 27 km of the road, we will reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, aUNESCO World Heritage site. It has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies including “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia” and much more… The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect the Exotic Moroccan architecture & cultures.

After exploring the kasbah, we will continue a little further on High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka pass” which will lead us to the Marrakech. 

Today, You will take a guided tour in the afternoon, visit the highlights of the Marrakech medina. In order to visit the Medina with an official local guide. However, You will discover the famous Mosque of Koutoubia, the Medina, and its souks. In other words explore more of Marrakesh’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace, and Majorelle Gardens… Etc. Overnight stay in Marrakech.
