Great way to see Morocco! My husband and I did a five day tour of Morocco as part of our honeymoon. Brahim picked us up at our hotel in Marrakech right on schedule. He was friendly and knowledgeable, telling us about the stops along our journey. He was also good about taking pictures of us, and stopping at scenic overlooks. He gave us advice on what to do in each city and how best to experience our stops. We very much enjoyed all of our accommodations and our camel trek into the Merzouga desert. Brahim was prompt and reliable throughout the tour, easy to communicate with. We had a great time!

Wonderful Desert Tour Amazing experience into the desert! We did a 4 night/5 day tour from Marrakesh to Fes and it was amazing. It really feels like we now saw a lot of Morocco. We had so many truly authentic experiences interacting with kids deep in the Atlas Mountains and having tea in a nomadic Berber camp. All of the hotels along the way were top notch and honestly I only wish we had had an extra night in Merzouga at the end just to annoy another day and sunset in the dunes. Our guide Mustapha was so friendly and so knowledgeable. He was always willing to stop and show us every site. He has a deep appreciation of Berber culture and it shows. I am so glad we did this trip and did not just stick to the cities on our Morocco visit. Highly recommend! It’s all booked for you - the car is comfortable, the driver is great, the hotels are nice, the desert is stupendous - all you have to do is show up.

Best guide , best trip and best value for money! Wow wow wow couldn’t recommend this trip enough! We did 3 full days 2 nights to the desert from Marrakech ( optional to drop off in fes or anywhere else but we had our rental car so had to do round trip) the value for money was outstanding! The riads and desert luxury camp we stayed in were incredibly nice and way better than I expected! It was truly glamorous and luxury! The food was incredible and the itinerary was perfectly tailored to all our needs! Everything was spectacular but the highlight was definitely our guide Houssaine! He speaks fluent English , Spanish , French , Berber and Arabic! He was so knowledgeable about all things Morocco and made the long road trip an absolute blast! He was funny and get like a friend that we had brought along! Couldn’t recommend this company enough! Whatever we wanted they made sure it happened! We did the private tour it was 3 of us and the value was unmatched! We would have spent way more money if we tried to do it ourselves! Book this trip you won’t regret it!

Great trip to the edge of the Sahara desert We booked a 4 day guided trip from Marrakech to Fez. Even though we booked at the last moment, everything was well organised and flowed seamlessly. Our driver, Omar, spoke good English and was very attentive, taking us the to the things we were interested in seeing or doing and not to those things we weren’t interested in. Accommodation was good all nights with the up-market tent camp on the edge of the desert being both excellent and fun. Highlights of the trip were the exploring of various gorges, the camel ride to see the sunset across the desert dunes and the visit to the Berber family camp and tents. Also very interesting, and tasty, was the visit to the date agricultural exhibition which happened to be on, which Omar organised admission to. Lunches were at a fine variety of good restaurants selected by Omar. Overall, really enjoyed the total Moroccan experience.

Friendly and Safe Private Driver, Brahim. Brahim is good at taking photos. We look very nice and he knows all the good spots for the best views. He drives very carefully! Brahim has great taste in music and played lovely Berber songs. He taught us many Berber words from his area. We know more Berber words than arabic words because of him. :3 He is a friendly, warm, funny, and caring driver, host, and guide. I strongly recommend traveling with a private driver. You learn much more of the Moroccan history and culture when travelling with a local. With respect to the rest of the trip. We spent three days and two nights from Fes to Marrakesh. Day 1 we drove from Fes to Merzouga which is the desert camp. From Fes to Merzouga we stopped along the points of interest such as Ifrane which looks like a European town. Then we stopped and met some monkeys. It's cute. But it's not a forest as advertised. Then from the monkeys we go to Oasis. It is certainly interesting to see greenery in a very dry desert. From the oasis we head to Merzouga. Our camel guide was a young man named Omar. He was funny! He taught how to say hold on in Berber. We stopped in the middle of the desert to take some pictures as the sun set. It was beautiful. The camel ride was about 1 hour. Once we arrived at camp we were greated by Mohar short for Mohammed. He made us delicious food. The camp was lovely. The sky was clear and we were able to see the milky way at camp. The camp is fully equipped with running water electricity and wifi. So it's more like glamping than camping. After dinner we listened to the hosts perform "ahidous" which is drumming and singing. Omar our camel guide also sang and drum. Multi talented man! Day 2 - one of our group member tried sand boarding but it was too windy in the Sahara desert so we didn't stay out for long. After sand boarding we went to back to the main town Efroud via 4x4 jeep. You have the option of going back by car or by camel. We went by car and rode up and down the dunes. It was great fun. Once we arrived back into town we saw some other points of interests such as the Dades Gorge. Souks. And ended our stay at Dar Blues. dar blues was a lovely hotel and the hosts were wonderful. Fouad, one of the host there taught us more Berber words. We also were able to see stars on the rooftop. There is a lovely swimming pool at this hotel as well. Friendly staff and highly Day 3 We went to Aitbenhaddou which game of thrones was filmed. It was too hot to enjoy properly. Recommended getting there around 2pm. We ended up in Marrakesh around 7pm. Brahim dropped us off at our hotel. This company is also very flexible. h Hammou was my main point of contact. They were able to schedule us with Brahim for another trip to Essouria on a short notice.

Fall in love with morocco We are from Australia, visiting morocco is a big deal for us as we have to travel almost 48 hrs, change 3 flights, endless airport transittings to get to marrakech. We thought we knew what to expect our moroccan trip which we have been planned for a year, first few days on our own was pleasant and expected, then we met our driver Mustpha and started our 5 days private tour from Marrakech to merzouga (sahara), fes finished at tangier, 1,600km 40+ degree weather have not made a dent to our enthusiasm all thanks for the intriguing itineraries by Hammou and our driver and local guides' extensive knowledge, it made this trip unforgettable, we only started appreciating and understanding moroccan cultures when tbe private tour began. We have seen the most unexpected side of morocco, enjoyed authentic food and most genuine hospitalities. Every stop and stay was surprise, of course in very best ways. The nice breeze from dar blues in dade Valley, the luxurious tent in middle of dessert and dancing sining with berber people. Beautiful blue pool with reach of stunning sahara sand dunes and delicious food at Riadmadu in Merzouga, breathtaking view of Fes madina from our penthouse at raid palais houyam. All of these precious memories will stay with us forever. At end of trip, we absolutely fell in love with morocco and moroccan people. Thanks Hammou made this trip so comfortable, so we could enjoy it at our 150% capacity. We only regretted that we wasted few days on our own. Thanks again

Four Day Private Tour from Marrakesh to Chefchaouen with a Transfer to Tangier. Sahara Desert Excursions was very prompt in responding to my requests when planning for a wonderful four-day tour from Marrakesh to Chefchaouen with a transfer to Tangier. I was very impressed by our driver/ guide Mustapha Karraoui. He was always courteous, drove very conscientiously, was very prompt and extremely helpful. We were especially very grateful when he, on his own accord, placed my friend’s 11 year old son’s canned juice in the fridge at the desert camp. This is just one of many instances which we felt Mustapha genuinely is an exemplary guide and a huge credit to Sahara Desert Excursions. He made sure that our well-being and comfort through out the tour, was always taken care of professionally. Our vacation was indeed very memorable. I will not hesitate to recommend this company to my friends and family.

Amazing sahara trek My partner and I had an amazing experience with Sahara Desert Excursions. We did a private tour for 5 day 4 night from Marrakesh to Tangier. We were picked up from our hotel at Marrakesh and started our journey there. Our driver and tour guide was Brahim. He was amazing and was very accommodating. He made sure we were comfortable and safe the whole trip. He even taught us little phrases in Arabic and Berber. We drove through many towns/cities and Brahim gave us facts on each location or fun place we passed by. The first night we drove through High Atlas, Quarzazate, and stayed in a small cute town called Dades Gorge. Our riad was called Dar-blues, it was off the main road and our driver was able to maneuver through the small alley and mountain side roads very well. Dar-blues was a charming stay and we had a delicious 4 course meal that was included. The second night we went into Merzouga where we had our camel ride into the Sahara. We had a wonderful guide and when we arrived at our luxury camping experience, Mohamed was there to welcome us with snacks and then an appetizing multi-course meal. I was fascinated by the fact that there was plumbing in the middle of the desert. We ended the night with a campfire and drum circle. In the morning, we woke up for sunrise, went sandboarding and was welcome back to the camp site with an amazing breakfast. We opted to take the jeep out of the desert, which is just as great of an experience as the camel ride. I got an adrenaline rush as our drive went up the sand dunes, making the drive more like a roller coaster ride. We met back up with Brahim and drove to the cedar forest to see and feed monkeys! Never thought I would feed a monkey or be so up close to one. After we had a long but relaxing drive to Fes where we stayed the third night. The next morning we had a tour guide to take us to the markets in Fes and it was an awesome experience. We went down the smallest alley ways, saw how tiles were made and the leather making process. It was quite enlightening. To end the night we drove to Chefchaouen and stayed at a beaitful riad at the top of the hill. We got a room with a beautiful view and balcony. We were also allotted time to explore the town of Chefchaouen and I would highly recommend walking around the market, it's a beautiful town. And from Chefchaouen, Brahim drove us to Tangier and dropped us off at our hotel to end our trip. Overall, we had an amazing time on this tour. The hotels/riads we stayed at each night was clean, spacious and each stay included breakfast. Our tour guide/driver was incredible. If we needed to stop somewhere, he would go out of the way to make sure to accommodate our wishes. Brahim always brought us to location with delicious food, and he gave us good tips for going into town when we had free time. It was such a memorable trip and I highly recommend this tour if you want to get a glimpse of Morrocco and not only stay in one city.
