Sahara Desert Excursions driver/Guide will pick you up from Menara airport in Marrakech depends on your flight time. Then, Transfer you to the Riad / Hotel in Marrakech Medina, where you will spend the 1st Night.

Today, we will travel to Essaouira from Marrakech. You will explore this fascinating town on the Atlantic coast about two hours from Marrakech. The town is known for its beach, authentic fishing, and the processing of Thuja wood. You see silversmiths and woodworkers working in one of the most charming Medina of Morocco. We visit a traditional pharmacy and a cooperative where women manually processing argan nuts to the particular argan oil. You will have free time to visit this pearl, there are many outdoor activities that you can try in Essaouira ocean: Atv Quads, Ride horses & Camels, Surf… And much more. Overnight stay in a Riad in Essaouira medina.

After a late breakfast, We will leave Essaouira city and drive to Agadir through the Atlantic coast. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains and many genuine Berber villages that were built by mud and rocks, and see many Argan trees along your way; you will have several stops along the road. You will have free time to swim and relax on the famous beach of Taghazout for a spectacular view.

Upon arrival to Agadir city. Walk along the harbor, take in breath-taking views atop the Kasbah stronghold, and try your bargaining skills at a souk (Berber markets) all as you learn about the history of this city.

Stroll along the beachside promenade before arriving at the contemporary marina, which is lined with boutiques, restaurants, and trendy apartments. Next, ascend the hill to Agadir Ouefellah, the city’s 16th-century Kasbah fortress, which offers far-reaching panoramic views. See the inscription “God, King, Country” over the entrance and remember to snap a memorable photo. Overnight stay in a Hotel in Agadir city.

During day 4 through Our 10 Days Morocco Sahara Trip. We will Travel toward Ouarzazate city, passing by Taroudant, Taliouien known with Suffran ( the red gold ), and then Taznakht. We will make some stops to enjoy the stunning landscapes. Arrive at Ouarzazate where you will visit Taourirt kasbah & Hollywood studio of Africa. Then continue our road to Agdez (Draa Valley) where we will have our Overnight stay.

After the morning’s breakfast, take the off-road 4WD Sahara desert trip we will drive through the Draa Valley until we reach Tansikht. On our way to lunch in Alnif, we will pass through the fabulous Nkob palm grove and its amazing Kasbahs. Following the desert trails to Mcissi in the afternoon, we will arrive in Tafraout Sidi Ali (A small Berber village sit in the deeply Sahara desert close to Algerian-Moroccan borders) for dinner and an overnight stay in a Riad.

Today, we will continue our Morocco Safari desert tour passing through the off-road of Paris Dakar Race that is surrounded by a mix of sand and the Rocky Mountains. Alongside the road, there are some nomad’s tents where we shall stop to explore their hard life in this harsh desert, they are very kind to their visitors as they share with them any food that they have in their tents such as dried dates, cheese, milk and cup of tea.

10 Days in Morocco itinerary

Later on, we then follow our way to our target via the river of Ziz and the small Berber villages of Ramlia where we will have lunch under acacia trees in the Sahara as a picnic. Then, continue to Ouzina, Taouas, and Khamlia. We make our way to Merzouga, we will prepare ourselves to ride a camel trek Trip before we head to the place where your camel and your experienced guide are waiting for you to start another journey but this time by camel. Camel trekking will last for 1h30m crossing the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi that offers charming views for pictures and playing with sand once you stop for watching the sunset, also sandboarding is available in your journey to the camp. On arrival to the camp, welcome tea will be served by camp staff. 

Next, you will have dinner either inside a Berber desert camp or outdoor before you gather around a bonfire to enjoy Berber drums and traditional nomadic songs. Spend the night under the stars or inside the Berber traditional tent. 

The following day, on our 10 Morocco road trip. You will wake up early to appreciate a breathtaking sunrise over Merzouga erg Chebbi. After breakfast & shower in the desert camp, we take you back to Merzouga Village, either back by camel trekking or 4WD (as you wish). Then, we will drive to Rissani, we will visit a museum of fossils and have a walk in the traditional Market. Subsequently, Our 10 days Morocco desert adventure goes on through many Berber & Arabic villages, Mellab, Tinjdad, Jourf and this last one know for the wells of an old system of irrigation. We will have a stop there to visit this attraction. The lunch will be in Mellab or Tinjdad (Optional). 

The next Attraction will be at Todra valley and the canyons of Todra gorges, which are about 300m in height. Also, the power of water could make its own way across the rocks. This Gorge is known for climbing and hiking. Finally, we will drive to Dades Gorge, where we will spend the 2nd night of our trip, an overnight stay in a Riad.

We will have breakfast in breathtaking views of Dades valley. Then continue our Morocco trip to Marrakech across Roses valley & Skoura Oasis palm groves.

The next stop will be in Ouarzazate, where we will have a small visit to Taourirt Kasbah. And after 27 km of the road, we will reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies including “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia” and much more… The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect the Exotic Moroccan architecture & cultures.

After exploring the kasbah, we will continue a little further on High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka pass” which will lead us to the Marrakech. Overnight stay in a Riad in Marrakech.

Today, you will have a guided day tour to discover the secrets of the “Marrakech” medina.  A professional local guide will show you the most beautiful places of the red city, you will visit Bab Er Robb, the Saadies tombs, El Badi Palace, Ali Ben Youssef madrassa, the Koutoubia mosque and of course the famous square of Marrakech: Jamaa El Fna. And the Majorelle Gardens, and much more attractions in the medina. overnight stay in a Riad near Jamaa el Fna square. 

On the last day, we will transfer you to the airport depends on your flight time & place where our 10 Days Morocco itinerary ends.
