Day 1 : Arrive in Marrakech - Transfer to your accommodation.

Sahara Desert Excursions driver/Guide will pick you up from Menara airport in Marrakech depends on your flight time. Then, Transfer you to the Riad / Hotel in Marrakech Medina, where you will spend the 1st Night.

Day 2 :Marrakech - Essaouira.

Today, we will travel to Essaouira from Marrakech. You will explore this fascinating town on the Atlantic coast about two hours from Marrakech. The town is known for its beach, authentic fishing, and the processing of Thuja wood. You see silversmiths and woodworkers working in one of the most charming Medina of Morocco. We visit a traditional pharmacy and a cooperative where women manually processing argan nuts to the particular argan oil. You will have free time to visit this pearl, there are many outdoor activities that you can try in Essaouira ocean: Atv Quads, Ride horses & Camels, Surf… And much more. Overnight stay in a Riad in Essaouira medina.

Day 3 : Essaouira - Taghazout - Agadir.

After a late breakfast, We will leave Essaouira city and drive to Agadir through the Atlantic coast. We will cross the High Atlas Mountains and many genuine Berber villages that were built by mud and rocks, and see many Argan trees along your way; you will have several stops along the road. You will have free time to swim and relax on the famous beach of Taghazout for a spectacular view.

Upon arrival to Agadir city. Walk along the harbor, take in breath-taking views atop the Kasbah stronghold, and try your bargaining skills at a souk (Berber markets) all as you learn about the history of this city.

Stroll along the beachside promenade before arriving at the contemporary marina, which is lined with boutiques, restaurants, and trendy apartments. Next, ascend the hill to Agadir Ouefellah, the city’s 16th-century Kasbah fortress, which offers far-reaching panoramic views. See the inscription “God, King, Country” over the entrance and remember to snap a memorable photo. Overnight stay in a Hotel in Agadir city.

Day 4 : Agadir - Taroudant - Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate.

During day 4 through Our 16 Days Morocco Trip. We will Travel toward Ouarzazate city, passing by TaroudantTaliouien known with Suffran ( the red gold ), and then Taznakht. We will make some stops to enjoy the stunning landscapes. Arrive at Ouarzazate where you will visit Taourirt kasbah & Hollywood studio of Africa.  Overnight stay in Ouarzazate.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate - Dades Valley - Todra Gorges & its Valleys - Rissani - Merzouga desert.

Today we will wend our way to the Skoura Oasis, known for its Kasbah of Amridil, another fascinating site. From there our 16 days Morocco road trip continues to Dades valley via the ‘” road of thousand kasbahs” to catch a spectacular view of a vast valley dotted with small oasis and hundreds of ancient fortifications, till we arrive at the Roses valleythe town is called Kalaat M’gouna, it is well known for the “Roses Festival“, a festival that takes place on the city every year in May. Then we will take a drive through roads lined with ancient Kasbahs and many attractive Berber villages at the Dades Canyon.

You’ll be enjoying the amazing scenery along the way of the remaining fortified villages that were hosting the caravan roads till the early 20th century. We will head to Todra within a 15 km breath-taking valley full of palm trees. experience the high walls of grey and pink rock around the road on a walking tour inside Todra gorges. 

You’ll have some free time for lunch in one of the Berber villages that’s we will cross through. Following, after some hours of driving we arrive in the Sahara desert, free walking trip in the village & sand dunes. Day 6 : Merzouga desert trip - Visit the Treasure of Sahara - Camel trekking (Overnight stay in a desert camp)

Today, after breakfast, we’ll go on a Merzouga Sahara desert tour, We will explore the most interesting desert surroundings. Firstly, we will visit the Nomads. who are still live simple life under tents and live by raising camels, goats, and sheep. We will spend some time with them and discover their lifestyle. Then, we will leave for Mifiss’s mine of plumb. Further, on the 4WD Sahara desert tour, we will travel to Khamlia, a small village that is about 5 km from Merzouga. Here, you will discover another lifestyle of Gnaouas they kept their unique traditions.

There are many other places that you will discover. For example, there is the panoramic view of Galb Nass, the 4WD cars Museum, and the desert Oases. Lunch will be in a local restaurant.

In the Afternoon, you will experience camel rides across the Erg Chebbi Dunes to your authentic Sahara desert camp. When you arrive, you can experience sandboarding while enjoying the sunset. Spend the night in a desert camp with Berbers, they will serve you dinner, then play drums for you around the campfire. Day 7 : Merzouga desert - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Azrou & Ifrane - Fez.

In the early morning, you will wake up to Have an opportunity to climb the sand dunes and see a splendid sunrise, over erg Chebbi sand dunes. (breakfast & shower in the camp). Then, ride Camels back or 4WD to Merzouga village depends on your choice. We’ll travel to Fes, Along the road, we will have time to visit many attractions. Firstly we will stop to enjoy the stunning Valley of Ziz.

Then, proceed to Midelt city through the middle Atlas Mountains. After a short break for lunch, you’ll visit Azrou and the cedar forests of Ifrane where you’ll enjoy playing with some Barbary Monkeys. Finally, we will continue our journey to Fez where you will spend an overnight stay in a Riad.

Day 8 : Day to Visit Fes.

Today, you will Explore the cultural city of Morocco during this full-day trip to Fes. Also known as Fes el Bali, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was founded in the 9th century, and is home to the world’s oldest university. The city of Fes reached its true economic and cultural height in the 13th-14th centuries under the Merinids when it replaced Marrakech as the capital of the kingdom. Although the political capital of Morocco was transferred to Rabat in 1912, Fes has retained its status as the country’s Artisan center. Artisan workshops in the medina are as active today as they were 100 years ago and strongly contribute to the city’s industrial economy. Trades such as blacksmithing, leatherworking, ceramics, silk, tapestries, and sculpting are still practiced in these workshops today. The original ramparts still protect this ancient city and its estimated 9000 narrow passageways and bustling streets.

Day 9 : Fes - Meknes - Volubilis - Chefchaouen.

On day 9 during on our  16 days tour of Morocco , we will travel to Chefchaouen, along the road, we will visit the historical city of Meknes & Volubilis sites. Drive along the Rif mountains Until we arrive in Chefchaouen will stop visiting the old medina. Its square has real tourist interest due to its Spanish style. In addition, you will see a wide variety of artisan shops, restaurants with terraces, and cafes where you can enjoy, relax and eat… Overnight stay in a Riad in Rif mountains “Chefchaouen”. 

Day 10 : Free day in Chefchaouen.

Free day to discover Chefchaouen & its surroundings. Overnight in Chefchaouen. 

Day 11 : Chefchaoen - Rif Mountains - Tetuan - Tangier.

The next morning on our 16 Morocco Travel, you will prepare to discover the blue city, Chefchaouen. All the walls are painted in white and blue, colors that remind you of the sea and the sky. After you enjoyed the blue pearl we will travel to Tangier. First, we will experience the Rif mountains, until we reach Tetuan, where you will have a small visit to this stunning city. Overnight stay in Tangier.

Day 12 : Tangier - Asillah - Rabat.

Travel from Tangier to Rabat, departure to the center city of Tangier, It is located where the Atlantic and the Mediterranean coasts meet, also at the western entrance of Gibraltar. 

Then, we’ll drive about an hour to the beautiful white city of Asilah all along the Atlantic Coast, the town’s history dates back to 1500 B.C.  The city of Asilah itself was constructed by the dynasty of Idrisids, and the Cordobann caliph  Al-Hakam Second was built again in 966. The Portuguese occupied the city in 1471 and built its fortifications and a wonderful Medina with a charming view of the Ocean, there you will enjoy a walk into its old city surrounded by huge walls. 

After having lunch in the city, we will drive directly to Rabat: the capital city of the country and thus administrative, political, and financial center of Morocco, where you can stroll through its well-defined neighborhoods and visit several important monuments like the Alcazaba of Oudaias, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Tower Hassan and the quietest of all Moroccan souk, as the Medina is another place to get lost in this city, where every good and mediate their scents and products of all kinds are mixed: crafts, spices, food, etc … Overnight stay in a Hotel.

Day 13 : Rabat - Casablanca - Marrakech.

Today, we will travel from Rabat to Marrakech through Casablanca where we will have a tour around Casablanca to visit the Mosque of Hassan II (external visit), before driving to Marrakech, you will enjoy the Cornish or the seaboard part of the city. Then spend the night at the Riad or Hotel in Marrakech. 

Day 14 : A day to visit Marrakech.

Today is special to visit explore the secrets of Marrakech and seeing its landmarks. Your tour will start by discovering the Koutoubia Mosque, which is the largest mosque in Marrakesh. It is famed especially for its magnificent minaret, the oldest of the three great Almohad minarets remaining in the world. The minaret overlooks the entire city with its astounding height of 69 meters. Afterward, you will visit the famous Saadian tombs: it is a mausoleum occupying a quiet enclosure at the kasbah, the tombs are magnificently decorated with colorful tiles, Arabic script, and elaborate carvings.
