Around 8:00 AM Sahara desert excursions driver/guide will pick you up from the port/hotel and our driver will start his tour heading north to visit the Riff Mountains, the city of Tetouan, and the town of Chefchaouen. In that last place, we will stop visiting the old medina. Its square has real tourist interest due to its Spanish style. In addition, you will see a wide variety of artisan shops, restaurants with terraces, and cafes where you can enjoy, relax and eat before our trip goes on to Fez city. Overnight stay in hotel/riad.

On the 2nd day, we will drive to Merzouga passing through the middle Atlas mountains.

Our first stop will be “Ifrane” city. known as “Morocco’s Switzerland” because of its Alpine chalet-style architecture and aspect. Our Next step will be “Azrou” cedar forests. You can spot Barbary apes on the side of the road and stop for some photos. Then, passing across the fascinating Atlas Mountains, which are holding up the sky, winding your way through forested peaks, twisting mountain streams, and gushing springs, and spectacular, jagged walls of rock. Furthermore, we will arrive at Midelt where will have a break for lunch (Optional). 

From here you will carry on crossing Ziz Valley driving past thousands of sky-scraping palm trees, Tafilalt Oasis, and fortified Kasbahs to Erfoud. Then to Merzouga Erg Chebbi, where you will Experience camel trekking into the Orange dunes to reach OurSahara desert Camp Merzouga. Your camel ride trip takes approximately 2H with a break on top of the dune to enjoy a breathtaking sunset, Teste the sandboarding (Optional), enjoy the views, take pictures.

After that, you’ll continue to the camp where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of tea and relax until dinner time. After dinner, some traditional Berber drumming music, enjoy the starry sky, Shooting stars, Campfire, Exchange cultures & Histories with nomads. Then sleep in a private desert tent.

The following day, on our 4 days desert tour Tangier to Marrakech. You will wake up early to appreciate an incredible sunrise over Erg Chebbi sand dunes. After breakfast & shower in the desert camp, we take you back to Merzouga Village, either back by camel rides or 4WD (as you wish). Then, we will drive to Rissani, we will visit a museum of fossils and have a walk in the traditional Market. Subsequently, Our 4 days Morocco desert tour goes on through many Berber & Arabic villages, Mellab, Tinjdad, Jourf and this last one known for the wells of an old system of irrigation. We will have a stop there to visit this attraction. The lunch will be in Mellab or Tinjdad (Optional). 

The next stop will be at Todra valley and the canyons of Todra gorges, which are about 300m in height. Also, the power of water could make its own way across the rocks. This Gorge is known for climbing and hiking. Finally, we will drive to Dades Gorge to spend the 2nd night of our trip, an overnight stay in a Riad.

On the 4th day of our 4-day Merzouga desert tour Tangier to Marrakech, We will have breakfast in breathtaking views of Dades gorge. Then continue our trip to Marrakech across Roses valley & Skoura Oasis palm groves.

The next stop will be in Ouarzazate, where we will have a small visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt and after 27 km of the road, we will reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, UNESCO world Heritage site. It has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies including “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia” and much more… The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect the Exotic Moroccan architecture & cultures.

After exploring the kasbah, we will continue a little further on High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka pass” which will lead us to the Marrakech, where our 4 day Tangier to Merzouga desert tour ends.
