We will get to the blue city of Chefchaouen where you will go for a walk to discover the Outa-el-Hammam square, the cobblestone medina, and the Tarik Ben Ziad mosque inspired by Seville’s Golden Tower. Today, we will travel from Fes to the Sahara desert passing through the middle Atlas Mountains. The first stop on our journey to the Merzouga desert will be in “Ifrane” city, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco”. There you will enjoy Ifrane’s stunning views & Forest. Afterward, We will have a stop in “Azrou” to see the monkeys in the cedar forest (Barbary Macaque). We will have time to take pictures with monkeys on the road. 

Later, we will head toward the Sahara desert, we will pass through “Tizi n’Talghamt pass” to reach “Errachidia” city while admiring the views of Ziz gorges. Furthermore, We will have free time to take pictures & Memorable moments in the panoramic views of “Ziz valley”. Before Sunset for two Hours or 3, we will arrive in the Merzouga Sahara desert. Where you will enjoy a lifetime Experience.  Start with riding camels into Erg Chebbi dunes to reach our authentic Berber desert Camp Merzouga. The following day, on our 12 Days Itinerary in Morocco. You will wake up early to appreciate a breathtaking sunrise over Merzouga erg Chebbi. After breakfast & shower in the desert camp, we take you back to Merzouga Village, either back by camel trekking or 4WD (as you wish). Then. We will continue to Ouarzazate via Rissani and stop in Erfoud: famous for its fossilized marbles, where you will visit the workshop production of marble fossils.

Continue to the Todra Gorges which is an ideal place for walking and exploring on your own. Have lunch then drive through the town of Roses, Kelaa Mgouna. We continue through the Road of a Thousand-Kasbahs passing the Skoura palm grove until we arrive in Ouarzazate known us the “Hollywood of Morocco” and check into the hotel/riad.

Our day starts from Ouarzazate, where we will have a small visit to the Kasbah of Taourirt and after 27 km of the road, we will reach Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site. It has been used as a backdrop for shooting numerous Hollywood Movies including “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Gladiator”, “Kingdom of Heaven”, “Prince of Persia” and much more… The Kasbahs (fortresses) reflect the Exotic Moroccan architecture & cultures.

After exploring the kasbah, we will continue a little further on High Atlas Mountains through the “Tichka pass” which will lead us to Imlil Berber village venturing through the magnificent Atlas Mountains offering an impressive landscape in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. Overnight stay in a guest house in the middle of Atlas Mountains. 

During this day on our 12 days Morocco Tour you will explore the Atlas. Especially Imlil is a small village in the foothills of the highest mountains in Morocco Toubkal mountain. Imlil is the center to hire mountain guides and mules due to its unique position and its connection to several Berber villages and a very popular start point of treks and hikes for climbing Toubkal mountain.

In Imlil, you will take mules for around 40 minutes towards the south to the Berber village of Aroumd (Aremd) (1843m) set in the upper-level foothills of the Western High Atlas mountains, the main trailhead with streams and paths branching out in all directions to get our lunch which will be served in a Berber house in the village of Aroumd. Afterward, you can take a short walk.  On the road to Marrakech, we will visit Moulay Brahim Gorges and the Berber village of Asni are very popular for their weekly market every Saturday. Today is devoted to discovering Marrakech, we will go out of our hotel to “ the beautiful Red City Marrakech” in which we can spend the entire day. First, Marrakech is an antique imperial metropolis in Morocco. Its call comes from the Berber language it means “Share of God”.
