Day 1 : Fes - Atlas Mountains - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Sahara desert (Camel tour & overnight in desert camp)

Around 7:30 Am Sahara desert Excursions Driver/Guide will pick you up from your hotel/Riad in Fes. And start our 2 days desert tour from Fes to Erg Chebbi. On the first day, we will drive to Merzouga passing through the middle Atlas mountains.

Our first stop will be “Ifrane” city. known as “Morocco’s Switzerland” because of its Alpine chalet-style architecture and aspect. Our Next step will be “Azrou” cedar forests. You can spot Barbary apes on the side of the road and stop for some photos. Then, passing across the fascinating Atlas Mountains, which are holding up the sky, winding your way through forested peaks, twisting mountain streams, and gushing springs, and spectacular, jagged walls of rock. From here you will carry on crossing Ziz Valley driving past thousands of sky-scraping palm trees, Tafilalt Oasis, and fortified Kasbahs to Erfoud. Then to Merzouga Erg Chebbi, where you will Experience camel trekking into the Orange sand dunes in order to reach Our authentic Sahara desert Camp Merzouga. Your camel ride desert trip takes approximately 2H with a break on top of the dune to enjoy a breathtaking sunset, Teste the sandboarding (Optional), enjoy the views, take pictures.

After that, you’ll continue to the camp where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of tea and relax until dinner time.
